Yes, I think the modeling gods were sending a not-so-subtle sign about the Mustang 😉
That's why I will build a larger scale version....😃

Good light and magnifying glasses of some kind in necessity!
I truly enjoyed the fast paced kit. And encourage everyone to build one, I had a Mustang going until one of my cats pawed it down on the floor and stepped on by a dog. Obviously I wasn't supposed build the Mustang

Steven and Lou, what on earth …. what parts of the ship are you talking about?
Are those the new definitions?
😉@Oskar24, Trust me - you will have questions all through out the build, better to ask than to be sorry. And that's why we are here and having this forum, to help each other.
Btw, a warm

If you are patient, hobby saws do come up for sale here on MSW and Ebay. I recently bought a saw from a MSW member. It has a fine adjustment fence that attaches on the front and back of the table. And it is variable speed with four carbide tipped blades. It may not be the Cadillac of the saws but I think it will do every thing I need.
I have the fks/e proxxon saw, nice saw but not even close to a Byrnes. Has some desires regarding the fence. I do like the change of speed. A friend of mine has a Byrnes but I think there's some years in difference in between them to.
Some day that Byrnes saw will be sitting in the workshop.

Well, it's not a ship model kit, so admin and moderator feel free to move this build log.
I don't know how many of you have heard of Metal Earth, this is a company located in Seattle, WA that came up with the idea to make PE kits.
This light house build will only contain pictures no explanations.
Only two tools were used, a fine plier and a cutter.
No glue, and no soldering.
Build time about an 1 hour.- marktiedens, coxswain, mtaylor and 8 others

Hello all - just joined, - in the 250th anniversay year of Cook's landing in Australia.
I'm now at the stage of rigging, and I'm hoping to find some handy tips, as well as some of the information missing from the AL kit rigging instructions.
Cheers!
Skeeta, sorry for editing your first posting , but this a huge and warm
It looks like you are off to an extremely good start. Looking forward to your build log. -

OK, I think I found a winner on this, this has to be the kit. Miss Unlimited "Vintage American Junior Aircraft Miss Unlimited Hydroplane Kit", its 36" long and makes multiple boats.
So my only thing now is to find another kit or try and scratch build the Cowl section with maybe planks and wood filler. But this has got to be the kit.
So I was to late with my posting, lol, still glad you are getting closer to a conclusion.
