Model Machines Disc Sander for sale

Recommended Posts

Greg Herbert purchased a new 120V Disc sander and sent his old one back to me to be refurbished for sale here, profits going to MSW.  It is well known how hard Greg is on his tools but he was not able to completely destroy it although he gave it his best shot.  It is now working just fine after a few hours on the bench and some new parts.  It has a few dings and blemishes but operates as new.  Price is $200.00 + shipping.  Anyone interested should contact me at jdm@cfl.rr.com for the particulars

Wow that was fast,

Less than two hours - too bad I was engaged with vacuuming the house otherwise I would have had it!

Congrats Pete!

Thanks to Greg for the donation.  Thanks to Jim for the rework.  And thanks to Pete for the purchase - you will love it.

I agree with Jim: Greg is very hard on his machine tools!! Thanks for the donation, though, Greg. The new owner will have a machine with a provenance, checkered history and having belonged to a former Famous Owner.

Great job patching her up, Jim. For those who missed out on this gem, I fully anticipate my brand new Byrnes disk sander to be in equally rough shape after another decade of similar abuse. Stick around for another donation.
