Kitty Hawk 1/32 T-28s

Recommended Posts

I’m a sucker for T-28s.
The white B was the first built in the USA

The SEA AT-28D-5 is a heavily kibashed B

The T-28C was a pre production kit built as the KH display model

The night stalker as the only one I had freedom on. The other two were built for others and they had to be built exactly as shown, including the lemon flippin’ yellow.

I’m looking to revisit the Zorro’s attack bird and perform a few updates like reducing the sheen on the figures.

Plus a yellow trainer with me having some freedom to work is on my short list.  Commission builds are nice, but building to spec can be a real drag.

were those the ones with the rails to slide new national markings on over the painted on ones?   I saw pics of that, and it was injenious. Kept the NVA thinking..

I use to watch these fly out at KAFB all the time when a kid in the 60/70's had a park right across from the flightline. ;)

yep. I remember them as well as a kid. Yellow C's doing practice traps on dry land.

We have reality, we have what the mind remembers of reality, and then, most of the fun of modeling comes from trying as best we can at making our remembered reality match actual reality in the chosen mediums available....

You will eventually find that reducer machine brother, it's there, the journey is in figuring out how to get it to work for us as individuals. I know you've got it, I've seen it.....
