WayneR Posted June 30, 2020 #1 Posted June 30, 2020 Hi I’m from Essex in the UK, I’ve not done any modelling for a number of years, a model I just bought is a JSC card model of the German surface raider Atlantis. I’ve never done a card model before and look for some tips to help me, later on I would like to try some of the bigger ones so just learning on this one. Thanks Wayne. Wayne, first of all, a warm , As for card models, they are great as you don't need much of tools. Just make sure the scissor and knife are super-sharp, because it will be necessary. Start a build log - with pictures and text. She will be an interesting build I like to follow. I placed an order the other day from JSC and their communication service is outstanding. ccoyle Posted June 30, 2020 #4 Posted June 30, 2020 Most JSC models are in 1/400 scale, though some are 1/250. 1/400 can be a real challenge to work with. Because there is a learning curve for card, I suggest you start out with one of the various free models that are available.
