Hi I’m from Essex in the UK, I’ve not done any modelling for a number of years, a model I just bought is a JSC card model of the German surface raider Atlantis.

I’ve never done a card model before and look for some tips to help me, later on I would like to try some of the bigger ones so just learning on this one.
Thanks Wayne.

As for card models, they are great as you don't need much of tools.
Just make sure the scissor and knife are super-sharp, because it will be necessary.

Start a build log - with pictures and text.

She will be an interesting build I like to follow.
I placed an order the other day from JSC and their communication service is outstanding.

My order was shipped out today, Tuesday 30.
Am looking forward to do some "carding".

Most JSC models are in 1/400 scale, though some are 1/250. 1/400 can be a real challenge to work with. Because there is a learning curve for card, I suggest you start out with one of the various free models that are available. There should be links in the tutorial mentioned above -- some staffer here of middling ability wrote it.
