Very simple kits. I had to get the cockpits painted first, joined up all I can, now for a primer coat and look for mistakes.

Mr Surfacer 1500 colour with Mr Leveling thinner. My first use of this as a primer so let’s see how it goes with masking. The bloke who owns SMS paints tells me that this is the best way to get a gloss coat is to use a black undercoat. Let’s see how we go.

So today I got some colours down, easy for some big bright colours tomorrow

Greg, did you use EZ-Line for the rigging? If so, I'd be interested in hearing how you go about securing the ends to their attachment points.

Yes, just a tiny dab of CA.

Interesting. I always have enormous amounts of difficulty trying to stick EZ-Line with CA.

Too much glue? Is the CA old? I’ve never had an issue just don’t do it under tension

Did you consider replacing the props with a transparant disc? Some diorama builders do to solve the discrepancy between the speed shown and a non-moving prop.
