Hi everyone,

I am Adrian, 50 years old, I've been interested in WWII model making for years, then I quit for study and work.

Now I'm back, because I recently found the only wooden ship model I made, the Blue Shadow, abandoned in the attic.

I will ask some advice to help me re-start!😁

The work-logs are really fantastic!

Thank you all for your support for this community.

Welcome to MSW Adrian.  You mention the city of Ferrari. Are you speaking of Modena or Maranello?  I have fond memories of eating tagliatelle with funghi porcini at Trattoria Tagliatella in Modena.  If this area is your home, you are in a part of the world with some of the finest cuisine to be had.  Again, welcome to MSW!

Allan

PLEASE take 30 SECONDS and sign up for the epic Nelson/Trafalgar project if you would like to see it made into a TV series.   Click on http://trafalgar.tv   There is no cost other than the 30 seconds of your time.  THANK YOU

Hi Allan, wow you've been here? Yes I'm speaking of Modena and if there must be something better than a Ferrari or my beloved Captain Nelson, it can only be a good plate of tortellini or tagliatelle! 😀

Ciao Adri

I used to spend a lot of time in San Casciano (VP), Bologna, and Cattolica several times a year for work for many many years.  The last few years were spent mostly near MIlano in the area of Treviglio.   I remember a LOT of great restaurants along Via Emilia between Bologna and Modena and up in the hills northwest of Bologna as well.     My wife and two of her girlfriends spent two weeks in Toscana last year  going to different homes in the countryside to learn new cooking recipes and had a fantastic time.  We LOVE your country!

By all means, feel free to open a log on your model when you're ready.  It's a great way to get help and meet other modelers.
