I have this monograph and intend to build it some day, I've got the plan sections glued on to some plywood for the mould but that's it.

Your build shows real quality but I imagine that the disaster was heartbreaking. Did you recover it or did you have to restart the build?

Hi Karl,

I remember your model. I was very impressed by your build, as I've seen it the first time. And there's nothing changed. I am very impressed.

Just beautyful. Thanks for sharing

Regards Christian

Beautiful work. I was heart-stopped at your 'disaster' photos, but very glad that you had the patience and courage to start over again. Well done, Karl!

Hi, Karl!

I wonder about wood type:

Wood type Schweizer Elsbeere - it looks like pear. I have not the word "Elsbeere" in my German dictionary, but I suppose it is a pear. Is it?

mountain ash in my dict (oskorusa - google say :)

Hello Hrvoje and egen.

WIKIPEDIA:

ELSBEERE (Sorbus torminalis)  similar to the pearwood.

In Germany also known as "Schweizer Birnbaum".

Wow, words cannot adequately describe your build. I hope Gerrard gets to see this.
