Especially since I had no extra material to make new ones. They barely gave me enough to make those eight.

I have to flip the brass bands. Even tho I cut them to the lengths called for in the instructions, they don't mate on the underside.
I guess I'll tackle it after breakfast 👨🍳🥓🍳

@AJohnson @Edwardkenway Thanks for the Eagle eyes. You're both right they are inverted. Unfortunately they are not dry fitted, but attached with CA. I hope I can unglue them without destroying anything, especially the brass bands. They only gave me enough strips to do the anchors.

Well I'm back ! 🙋♂️ Finally got thru all the cataract surgeries, follow-ups, new reading glasses, et al. I've been trying to get all the deck "furniture" assembled, fighting with vague instructions and even more vague photos. The Veritas shooting plane and board are certainly helping true up the cut ends, also "The Bug" Hold and Fold tool from The Small Shop has been very useful in bending the brass straps for the anchors. Some overall photos of the furniture, just randomly placed for photos.

Gary, @Morgan , that stove looks very similar to a Petite Gaudan/Godin (sp?) parlor stove we installed in the Saugerties Lighthouse in 1990 after we finished restoring it. Ours was wood or coal fired, produced an incredible amount of heat.

That was a step up from a coal burning furnace that required blackgang work from an inhabitant.
We had one of those monsters in our house during WWII. Remember following my Dad into cellar one time when he went to stoke it for the night. As soon as he opened the door to furnace to shovel the coal in, the air rushing in caused the fire to roar, scared the daylights out of me, I think I was 5 or 6 then. Scared me so badly, I would never go in cellar when it was running. He converted to a Delco oil burner as soon as the war ended.

Nice job Jack!! Really well done!
I think the technique you used to prime the figure is called Zenithal Priming or Zenithal Highlighting. I just came across the technique on a miniatures video myself. I need to try it!
Thanks!
I followed this guy's technique

A little side diversion. From the Post-apocalyptic series by Master Box, Raider Reaper in 1:24 scale. A really simple figure kit to assemble, it’s more about painting figures. I used Vallejo paints. After assembly I sprayed the figure with Tamiya's rattle can Fine Light Grey primer, then after drying I airbrushed it with Vallejo black primer. After that cured overnight, I airbrushed it again with Vallejo white primer, except this time I held the figure so I was spraying straight down with the top of his head pointed straight at the airbrush, leaving a white over black misty finish. (Sorry, no pictures, I was following a YouTube video on the technique).

there is no “Central New York,” only “The City” and “Upstate”. It’s nice to know that another distinctive region exists. 😆
Yes, there's several regions, Southern Tier, Western NY, Niagara Region, Finger Lakes region, Mohawk Valley Region,Capitol Region, Upper/Mid/Lower Hudson Valley, Adirondacks Region (the real "Upstate" 😉😊) also known as The North Country; and then there's "Downstate", basically everything south and east of Tappen Zee Bridge (Westchester, Manhattan, Long Island), or is it Spuyten Duyvil, I can never remember which! 😉😊😇
