I do not think that building of the model in a bottle from the kit is easier than building from scratch. I already have a small collection of SIB building kits. I acquired them to study and, if possible, to learn something new, but I was very disappointed

Now the building is almost completed. I'm going to put on the deck of a few bunches of firewood. And I need to come up anything with the stopper and the stand.

Next, I installed a second lifeboat.

So, I continue...

I could not cut some of the threads that were hard to reach areas, using a conventional tool. So I had to make one more tool and to use the way, that usually I do not like to use.

After repairing the damages, I could begin to install fore-mast.
It took me two tries to do it

Then I made a new forestay, set it in place and glued.

Next I installed the bridge again

In the morning I started to repair the breaches. At first, I pasted the eye in  opening. I made a small and simple tool for the job.

Despite my misgivings, the bridge was set almost immediately, but then ... I was horrified to find some damages...

In this state, this was leaved until the next morning...

Next, I needed to install the bridge.

So, I continue my story. We had 4 days of holidays and days off, so I was able to devote quite a lot of times for work with this project.
As you may recall, back mast was installed in its place, rigging taut, and after yet another validation of transactions, I just had to fix them with glue and trim the excess ends.

So, last evening I was going to fix the back of the mast and its standing rigging, and then install and fix running rigging... But it turned out that the guys on the one hand have been set incorrectly.
I had to pull out the mast and do everything over again.
Then I set the running rigging too. These temporary loops did their job

You make it look so easy.  But if it were we would all build in a bottle.

This project is also another test of another manufacturing method of water from the two-component silicone.
As you may remember for one of my current projects is very important to get a clear sea. It is very important to be able to see the underwater parts of the composition.
