    Small update, after rereading EG s post on the interior colour and the discussion over on Doc Robs tamiya corsair log, I did a repaint on the wheel wells. This my version of salmon pink, one part tamiya flat red to 3 parts tamiya flat flesh. Whilst painting the wells, the repair to the hinge I'd done decided to fail😶😬😔 so now the wings will be glued in the down position 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Thanks for the likes and comments. Cheers

    Yep, that's what I'm going to do, I'd already painted all interior green but, same as you, will repaint the wheel wells. Your engine looks superb btw

    I hope the Admiral feels better soon! I've been thinking about your trial at bending the tail and it springing back to the original shape, and Marks suggestion about a few wires here and there. If you used some clear, fine strong fishing line, it would be virtually invisible and hold the tail in position. Painting looks good, very realistic, dirty looking bleached bone colour.

    I got to follow, it makes the 1/32 revell kit I'm working on look very basic😁😊. It's looking amazing so far.

    Done a little bit more, intermediate blue on the other wing and a coating of white had to stop as I'm having trouble with the airbrush clogging up. So it's having a full clean with the parts soaking in cleaner fluid. Thanks for dropping by and the 👍. Cheers

    To be honest, I put it to one side whilst I concentrated on Winchelseas stern and Q galleries and then I was tempted to the card side by persons unnamed 🤔😂😇 Then I thought I need to get the F4U-1A moved on. I'm sure you'll have a fine time in Sheringham. Enjoy! Are you going to take a trip on the NNR steam trains?

    Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have a try on the fuselage as I don't like the freehand attempt I've tried on it it is a bit too fuzzy the wings are glue on and the gaps are filled Also I've put a coat of intermediate blue on the underside of one wing Thankyou for all the likes, comments and looking in.     Just a little update, I've had a bit of a practice run on the transition of the colours. the engine cowl was the perfect practice piece. this was a freehand experiment, with no masking. Between the two blues I have touched it up with a brush. From the white to intermediate blue it's left as was sprayed. I'll be interested in your opinions, for or against, any suggestions as to wether there are better methods to achieve a softer line between colours will be gratefully received.     Looking real nice EG, you're a braver man the me, I'd have probably knocked it of that decking handrail 😬 The BMF really shines (no pun intended), exceptional job! Can't wait to see this on its dio base.

    No, it's not just you😊😉I assumed they were a flat/matt finish but it doesn't mention on the bottle, anywhere that I can see. personally I quite like the finish of the Mig colours.

    A bit of colour on her first coat of sea blue. I'm waiting for some acrylic putty to be delivered and the wings will be attached and then get another coat on. this is Mig/ammo sea blue, it's not as flat as the same colour by tamiya. Thanks for the likes and looking in. Cheers

    The tiny tubes are also my nemesis, and swapped them for either brass or toothpicks. The framework looks very nice!

    I'm going to have a go with my airbrush and try to give the transition of the Colours a softer edge than the ones on my SBD

    It's good things are a little more settled now, but as the others have said, get that follow up with your GP, and look after her OC😉 Take care and stay safe.
