  1. Well, why not, Michael - you've gone this far! John
  2. Oh, was it you Mario? I thought it was rather fun! John
  3. Oh, yes, Popeye - looking good, mate! But you'll need more lobsters than that to make that boat pay! John
  4. That's a good link, but I've deleted the illustrations due to probable copyright issues. Members can see the illustrations in the article. John
  5. The white on the cover boards really sets her off, Michael. John
  6. Crikey, Popeye! I get up in the morning and find that you've gone beserk with your model overnight! Just one thing with your sidelights - move the lamps to the back of the screens, otherwise they'll show the light too far abaft the beam. John
  7. Popeye, Those little details can seem to take for ever when we're anxious to get on and finish things, but it's those small touches that really make the model. Keep it up, my friend! John
  8. Sarah, The answer to that one is easy - I haven't the foggiest idea! American river steamers are hardy a speciallity of mine, but would suspect that they would have used whatever thay could get. John
  9. Hmmmm. I think I might disagree. 5/64 inch is almost 2mm - quite doable if you really want to. John
  10. Finally catching up with what you're doing, Rusty. Brilliant work, mate! John
  11. Gentlemen, stay cool and be nice to each other!! John
  12. Enjoy your flying, Augie! We'll enjoy your lovely model growing as you get time! John
  13. Very nicely done! Just like the full size one. John
  14. That railing's come out looking really good, Tom! John
  15. Thanks for the additional photos of your lovely 'baby', Bob. John
  16. Mario, Just caught up with your disaster. Can I suggest that you feed the cat to the local eagels (unless it's the Admiral's of cause). Look forward to your return (soon, I hope). John
  17. It's always a surprise to me just how big a sailing ship model looks when you first try the masts, Andy. Hope you've got a tall shelf space ready! John
  18. Popeye, those sails are looking good, but is there any way you can get that rudder closer to the sternpost - that looks a fair gap there. John
  19. Christian - thanks for your support! Bob - I thought it was the Ground Hog's! John
  20. Wow! SHe looks really good - a real credit to you, mate! Looking forward to the extra photos when your battery is charged. John
