  1. Hi Popeye , you have done a beautiful job , the Funnel looks great. You are right, Kit plans are Vauge and alot of the important details are left out . ( I am lucky that I have actual boat plans for my Buzzards Bay 14 ) Best Regards, Pete
  2. Thanks Russ , making the metal parts took awhile and have alotmore parts to make ( I plan on making all the parts ) It was cool to see your Oyster Skiff again . Best Regards, Pete
  3. Today , Was a day of many Hats, I started by masking the deck and then spaying 3 coats of Flat white ( I did not want the glare from the gloss ) I then trimmed the cockpit Coamings, sanded them, and Stained them Cherry . Then I Started making the Pintles and Gudgeons , This is the first time that I have made metal parts ( I learned how to make them here on M.S.W. ) The Coamings have not been glued in. Here are the results

  9. Thank you Rick, I am pleased with the results Thank's Bob, Yea the Simple white Waterline set her off nicely (It was My Wifes Idea to just Varnish the hull, she said it was a shame to cover it all up with paint) The Coamings and the moldings will be stained the Same Cherry as the Transom
  10. Thank you Russ, It took a while to get the boat masked, and I thought I better get a Pic of that. Hi David, I used Z-Spar White for the Water line . The Z-Spar is in a spray can so I shot a bunch into a cup and thined it down with some Paint Thinner, Then Brushed it on Best Regards, Pete
