  1. More progress - I closed up the fuselage - will need a bit of tidy up on the seams, but it went really well. Pictures when I have cleaned up the seams. OC.
  2. Cockpit is better than no cockpit - imagine the pilot trying to fly without it🙃 OC.
  3. Some nice detail there EG looking forward to seeing more (I understand your frustration over getting parts) I think the world will see a mass of kits made during this madness. OC.
  4. Sitting here eagerly awaiting to see more mate.🙂 OC.
  5. Thank you kindly Ken, what stands out about the kit is not just the fit of parts but also the quality of the plastic, its has a more solid feel to it yet in scale thickness. OC.
  6. Thank you Mark, very kind of you, Im really impressed in the accuracy of it - very tight tollerances but it just fits well. OC.
  7. Mate on your Me109 the front you painted is Yellow.🙃☺️ OC.
  8. Same from me carl, that is some lovely detail work you have done - lovely job. OC.
  9. Congrats on the purchase - that will make a great build. OC.
  10. A bit more progress to day (boy I love the fit of this kit so far - it almost falls together) next was to paint and fit the two pedals, quite straight forward they pop in below the bottom frame, next I glued the other side to close up the cabin bath tub assembly. After putting this aside - I woked on the two fuselage sides adding a few more fittings that were then painted and weathered, I thne did a dry fit - all seems well with the fuselage going together well. OC.
  11. Exellent work indeed - you have chosen The referenece kit for HMS Victory and what a superb start you have made on her. OC.
  12. Phil you are making some Superb progress - its a pure delight to see your baby build into such a loverly piece of art. OC.
  13. Kevin its looking mighty fine - take no notice what others think, your attention to detail and workmanship is outstanding in everything you build. OC.
  14. Most important thing lou - try to keep your spirits up and I am sure everyone else agrees - this is our family on here and we are all here for each other. OC.
  15. Thanks denis, its RAF Cockpit Green straight out the jar diluted 50/50 then brush painted on. OC.
  16. Hi Lou, thank you for the kind words, the instrument panel is made of pre painted PE sections - a backing piece with the clocks painted on, then next the frontage with the dials and last a center section, after fitting them I dropped some semi gloss top coat onto the dials, superb craftsmanship. OC.
  17. Thats turning out really nice - great work with the painting. OC.
  18. Evening all, hope everyone is ok - keep up your spirits we will get through this, anyway work continues starting with the instrument panel, this is a multi stage thing starting with the frame - this has three sections of PE to be attached to it, when set I painted underneath and around the frame in Green, then I built and painted the compass, this was then glued in place under the frame, I then did a bit of shading with a pancil and finished off by highlighting, next off was to build the gun sight - this is a clear part in two sections, I glued both together then painted around the frame. OC.
