    Im not sure what those two off square protrusions are under the sail/conning tower, but the torpedo tubes are situated towards the bottom on the bow, two on the low starboard - two low port side and one mid center, they can launch all sorts of devices from these tubes inlculding missiles. OC.

    Here are a couple of pics showing the conning tower top fitted with slightly thinned down parts - periscope etc, the photos are not too great as they where indoors with just kitchen lights and no flash, both were a bit grainy due to high ISO and the close up was a very low shutter speed so a bit of shake. OC.

    I used to be a keyboard player and still record using VST digital equipment. OC.

    I thought the same - I might try an take a couple of them away, and thin the rest a bit with a sanding stick. OC.

    Right - more work on the sub this afternoon, I masked and re painted the top anti-slip black paintwork, then I turned my attention to the sail/conning tower top section, this has multiple devices - periscope etc, theres were cut from the spue and cleaned up before placing in thier respective positions, I also painted the inside white as this will be seen from the top. Here are a couple of pics (taken with my phone camera as I do not have a close up lens on my dslr) OC.

    Such a shame there are no QE ships in 1/350 scale of that period - only WW2 versions. OC.

    Hiya mate hope you and yours are well, wondered where you had gone, thought my singing had put you off I decided to give her a complete makeover, she has had a refit and new lick of paint and shortly ready to go back into service. OC.

    I cured my stuck glue tube with some heat - you know those attraction car displays with the flame thrower exhausts.......... only kidding, I used a gas blow tourch. I realy used a lighter to heat up the end of the tube. OC.

    Evening All, Im returning soon - so dont go away, im just finishing off my sub build, then I will return here as I have restored my mojo for my plastic builds, and my hand is not playing me up to bad. So recharge your pop corn and drinks (whatever your poison may be) and please make a slow return back to your seats. OC.

    On the masts themselves, they look like ladders, my warspite has them as part of the pontos pe parts. OC.

    Did you have to attach those tinyyyyy ladders up the mast? OC.
