  1. Yep slowly getting used to them - not done any model work yet though. OC.
  2. Great new project Craig looks like it will be a Stunner, bad news about your manual - cant think why Royal mail would be so slack, its a shame you do not have Waynes number or address the guy from chasing cars (I know it sounds like a dumb idea but he was a Ferrari specialist) and just wondered if he may have had a spare one knocking around. OC.
  3. Lots of extra magnification is the key (was) when painting my figures, the hardest was painting the Red White and Blue on the French Shako cocades (those small round disks under their plumes). Looking forward to what you do next - Market Graden would be cool with the Paras - I used to know an old timer who was serving over there at the time - he was dropped over by a Dak with his chute. OC.
  4. Loving this Alan - you can certainly see the different skin transitions for the different panels. OC.
  5. Great work Alan, those colours came out spot on - lovely details mate. OC.
  6. Hi all, sign im bored - I decided to do a few edit crops to show some of the close up detail from the completed build. OC.
  7. We was All extremely worried about you Alan - so good to hear from you. OC.
  8. Thank god you and the cats came through it with your lives and no injuries. OC.
  9. Could get the I gallon Red bottle and if you do not want to drink the wine first - leave it in and build the scene in a "Wine World" yes that was wine world not "Waynes World" OC.
  10. What an Excellent video, wonder if something like that could be made (minus the ships) then pushed through the neck, if it was less mass or deep, with the ships made and pushed through and placed after. OC.
  11. Im here also, how could I not be after my rather Longgggg Black Pearl build. OC.
  12. As Dan says - you could use a fine drill bit the same thickness as the leg extrusion, you can get sets of very fine small modelling drill bits. OC.
  13. That is true that is brother - I remember my late farther telling me when he was serving on a base if he was not repairing or poilshing something - he was told to "Go Paint Something" OC.
