Hi all!

I am a new member here, writing from Spain (Europe). My name is Miguel, although you will see my name as "Dannebrog Mod from Biiling" (this is a clear evidence of my lack of experience with computer tecnology...hopefully I will be able to change the name soon).

I have a large experience in wooden race ship model construction. I will be delighted to share my exprience with you if you want/need it.

Currently I'm faced with the ship construction of the Dannebrog model of Billing boats. This model has more tan 40 years. It  is in excelent conditions with its corresponding accesories. I would highly appreciate to contact someone of this club (which I was refered to from other european clubs) in order to get access to the building instructions from the Billing brand for this model (Dannebrog). The manufacturer in Denmark (who I already contacted) does not longer have the instructions due to the age "seniority" of the model. I would be very thankful if someone could help me out with my start with this model.

Happy to join this forum! Thank you in advance.

hi Miguel nice to meet you!! as you'll see, i think the spaniards are "rara avis" here, but the members are very kind people, collaborative and i feel at home here. Additionally is a great way to improve my english level hehehe. Greetings from BCN,

Hi Miguel,

Perhaps the best thing you can do is start a new thread in "Discussions for Ships' Plans and Project Research. General Research on Specific vessels and Ship Types", asking if anyone can help provide plans for your model. Perhaps someone has already made this model and still has the plans, and can supply them to you.

Good luck with it.

Miquel, warm welcome to MSW.
As for your username, if you have issue of changes, please reach out to any of us moderators through a pm with username.
We can change it for you.
As for Dannebrog, I have drawn a blank in the search online to find any instructions.
Although I am surprised that BB didn't have any records left.

I found that one of members back in 2010 did a build of Dannebrog, unfortunate we suffered a huge server crash in 2013 where we lost majority of data.

Please, visit our Facebook page!

Thank you Ryland!  I followed your instructions but regrettably the following message appeared "You are not allowed to change your display name right now as only members who have submitted 100 content items, etc. can change their username - you need to make 97 more" so I'm afraid I have to wait until I can change my name. Thank you anyway!

I've asked for one of the admins to contact you (via PM) to help get your name change.
