it might be a bit longer before I get back to building now my lower leg is swollen to almost 1 1/2 the normal size. going to Doctor soon. getting really tired of these on going issues with my leg

unfortunately no quick fix had to go to hospital for some treatment but luckily didn't need to stay over night.

I will have to get some IV antibiotics next few days and then back to Doctor to see if they can switch to normal ones

 

have the rest of the week off but will not be able to do much building on the kom or Endeavour. I might work a bit on the San Salvador

Adriaan, take it easy and fix yourself first! One thing I have learned as life has gotten in the way of my building is that the boats don't seem to care, they just sit right where you left them waiting patiently for your return. It is only our own minds that seems to think we have a schedule to keep.

apart from my leg and a needle ( I think its called a capillary or something) stuck in my hand I am feeling good. that's the problem I don't feel sick and sitting up with my leg on the couch most of the day is going to be boring.

 

at least I can check in here and read now and then

Glad to hear that, sir.  I think the needle thingy is called a catheter - my littlest grand daughter has one for her infusions.

might be Wayne didn't listen to much because it was rather painful at the beginning. I guess its better then having to be stabbed every time

She is healthy and adorable - just needs an infusion every 3rd day for a bleeding disorder (poor thing bruises in a light breeze).  They wound up installing a permanent port that we access with a catheter to give her the infusions.  It still sucks! 

 

Hope the current treatment (and the enforced boredom) lead to a full recovery for you!

I must admit I can only watch the TV and do nothing else for a short time before I have to go and build a bit

I just doing the same as you.

Only reading and no building.

The only thing is that the temperature is to high to work upstairs.

When I come home from work I want to try to do some things but after 5 minutes there are coming water all over me.

And no, It was not Anja with a water gun…...

Take care of your leg and happy reading…..

I shall not yell about the CF !

Sjors I had a look at the temperature at your place. for me that sounds like perfect weather . we only think it shot here if its getting close to 40
