Looks like an informative place. Great Just Great

I'm 69 and have been building models since childhood. All the plastic stuff and rockets. Always fun. I have finished one wood ship model. The NY Pilot Boat. It was quite a learning experience. By the time I was done I wished I could start over because I had progressed so much. I am terribly proud of my model simply because I got it done. I considered buying another ship with a pre-shaped hull but went with the English Pinnace. I was at the point where I needed to plank the hull. There are so many methods and information I was boggled. Then I took my own advice...don't rush, study and practice on scrap if possible. I had so many questions and finding answers was a struggle. Then I found English Pinnace by EricWilliamMarshall. Great Just great! He answered several of the questions in his build log that popped into my mind. Great Just Great. I backed up and am doing some cleaning up of what I have already done to make my further work easier and better. I doubt I will do more ships beyond the Pinnace.

I look forward to looking at pictures and reading the articles

Welcome to MSW, rudybob.   When you have the model in hand, open a log as it's the best way to get help and meet other builders.  As for questions.. ask away as there's such thing as a dumb question.   We do have a lot of info here and if you need help finding out something, try the search feature (upper left of every page).

Hi rudybob and welcome to Model Ship World.  The English Pinnace builds into a very nice model.  Good luck on your build.
