There is a lot with the saw on Ebay (with sliding table and some add ons). It is already $1,200.00 !

Earlier, a brand new, packed saw with all bells and whistles sold for $4,250.00 !!!

All I can say is - hold on to your saws if you have them, apparently they are very hot item.

As the 1200 dollar unit it is still another 8 days until last day.
Will be interesting to see the final cost.
Bought mine via our sell and buy section with alot of accessories, and only 80 dollars shipping. This only three years ago.

The one that sold for 4K was full package purchased from Jim few years ago and cost the seller just over $1,200.

It wasn't just the saw alone. But still, its sold like a collectible!

Lesson learned - if there is something good made by a single guy or "mom n pap" business, buy it while you can.

This latest one started at $1,200.  And yes, like the first one that ended up at $4,250, you won't see hardly any action on it until just hours before it closes.  I was watching the bidding on that first one and, within a couple hours of the closing, bids were still at a "reasonable" $1,500. Then two or three bidders got into a bidding tussle and.... boom.  <shrug>

If it is not relisted than some one did pay over 4K.

Chances are that person knows what he is getting.

Some people use it for business and it could make sense for them financially.

Law of supply and demand...

People use them in other hobbies besides model ship building.  With nothing comparable on the market, I can see how these are getting bid up.
