Thanks everyone! I have the micromark catalog. Didn't see it there. I guess I need to start looking further before asking such questions here :)

Hi,

I'd recommend checking craft stores, places that sell sewing supplies/dressmaking/material (whatever those places are called) and especially larger discount shops.  And/or do a Google search for "cutting mat" to buy online.

I found exactly the same products as hobby shops sell - from A5 up to A1 size - much cheaper than hobby stores (at least in Australia).  I managed to get an A1 mat for around $30 a year or so ago, and smaller ones are regularly $10 or less.  Seemed exactly the same material and quality (I certainly don't use the lines to measure or line parts up accurately).

Regards,
Darren

Ahoy Bill :D

Hobby Lobby and Michaels carry these. They also both have a coupon for 40% off one item (Google it). Makes for a sweet deal. You just have to use restraint and buy only one thing. It ain't easy
