I preferred the second option because I consider it the best although more complicated
I have scanned the kit's decals sheet
With Photoshop I increased the contrast and inverted the image
Then I printed it on paper
For the transfer I used the foto tranfert POTCH trasparent " Hobby Line"
A generous layer of glue is spread on the surface and the design is then positioned.
Then press to remove the spaces and let it dry
After dried, the paper is wetted with a brush and removed and the drawing is transferred
So you can use it as a base for painting. -

I've stocked up on lumber. Here in Italy you don't find much. In the past I bought from Crown Timberyard which has now closed or from Lumberyard. Browsing the net I found this site:

The model will be covered and painted with antifouling as the photo of the " Mamma Rosa" , and will have mahogany sides. Through the hatch of the cabin it will be possible to see the interior. I would like to make a diorama with a shipyard and insert this model together with one under construction where you can see the frames on sight.

Engine construction
The engine was made with forex and plasticardSome parts of the starter, the wiring and the muffler with the exhaust are still missing.
After the top is treated with a tamyia gray primer, then filled and treated with white primer and then painted.
Thus it will be possible to take the exact measurements for the shaft line and the assembly of the propeller and the bridge with the motor housing. -

The Schifetto it is a small size leudo-like boat.
The leudo is a typical Ligurian boat much larger at least 18-20 m the wood is Swiss pear, but then it will be painted. the beams of the beams until only supported, then they are corrected, aligned and then glued and afterwards they made the cabin and the motor housing.
these photos are of a Carlofortino boat built on the island of San Pietro in the early 1900s and motorized in 1927 used for trade and then for the transport of minerals the photos are from 35 years ago today it no longer exists because it was destroyed by a fire, the keel of the boat was 18 m long, it was called Gina and was very similar to a Leudo in fact the inhabitants of Carloforte came to the island from Liguria and the colonies of Tabarka in 1700
