  1. The carbon fiber looks very good. Nice subtle effect. 👍
  2. Good looking build, Yves. Color and finish are well done. In smaller scales, manufacturers use scribed sheet for the side panels. Achieving a tight joint where 2 sheets abut is a mark of good construction technique. Your fitting is spot on.
  3. Rich, what scale is this build? 1/48 or 1/32? Either way, looking very good.
  4. The picture was taken on 11-28-14, scratched just above the photographer's initials, W.B.B JR. Over on the right side, bottom corner. Somewhat newer equipment.
  5. Kind of a typical limited run kit with no registration pins and questionable fit. I have an Amodel Firebar sitting in its box, awaiting another session of fettling the two engine pods onto the multi-piece wings. 😜 Keep on plugging away, Alan. 👍
  6. Mike, take a look here: https://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/details/sac/detail_sac_48068.shtml Cast white metal replacements.I used a set for a damaged F-4 model. Your scratch gear turned out great. Looks like it would work.
  7. Wonder what Elsie the cow thinks of this gizmo? 😁
  8. Second Class compartment looks great. Third Class looks pretty dingy comparatively speaking.
  9. Good work with the Evergreen shims. Those older resin kits can have issues like yours shows, Spiff. And the German soldier is looking good, too.
  10. Glen, this has been a most educational yet entertaining build log. The Longhorns and Canadian penguins add a lot to the story. Thanks.👍
  11. I second EG. Whatever way you can figure out to accomplish that job is fair.😄
  12. A B-36? The Aluminum Overcast? There's one in Dayton, OH at the AF Museum. There once was a cargo version, the XC-99. It sat parked out in the infield at Kelly AFB, TX. Don't know if it was preserved. Immense aircraft, both of them.
  13. That's quite a selection. And your choice wold be a cool one. 👍
  14. Outstanding technique, Craig. And yes, the flash really makes it pop.
  15. I'll follow along, Yves. if this car came from NY State, it was probably American Car and Foundry. a conglomeration of 12 or so smaller car builders. Looks like a beautiful build.
  16. Could applying a liver of sulfur solution be used to darken the brass. It doesn't stain wood.
  17. Those are some long-lived trucks. This will be fun with droids.
  18. Will be an interesting build. Sharp looking car. Chip Foose cars are really attention getters.
