  1. How did the port side turn out? Display it with the better side showing.
  2. I too remember Moskit, but they disappeared into the fog of yesterdays. Are those 3D prints? Nice and delicate.
  3. I'm in too. It's my wife's fave, too. Me, I'm a Spitfire fan. Although I like Jugs and Corsairs, too. 😁
  4. Glad to see you back, Denis. Events like that can be life altering. Interesting subject. Like EG says, a good white primer, like Tamiya spray cans, should work well. And pursue the decals. Painting them on is way above and beyond.
  5. Almost looks like an Escher print. I'd cut the opening in A8, glue it in . Add the cockpit floor from the front, between the canopy rails, then glue in A15.
  6. Dan, your Sparrows are spot on war shots, The yellow band is in the correct location, on the warhead area. Congrats on your retirement. It takes a little getting used to, but now I ask myself how I ever got any "work" done. 😁
  7. Rob, great work on your leather seat. 👍 Your finishing work is a master class.
  8. I figured that, Greg. 😀 I meant how did the crew members stay attached to the actual airship during aerial gyrations. web strapping, lassos, magnetic boots?. Did they reload their guns inflight.
  9. Good plan. These Great War birds are so interesting. I'll be following.
  10. Superb work, Glen. The waterfall area is appropriately lush; reminds me of a trip the Admiral and I took to Maui and drove over to Hana. 👍
  11. James, what great details. The Spitfire is one of my faves. I'll follow along.
  12. That turned out well. The gondola/pagoda looks quite delicate. And how do those two upper level gunners stay attached to the airship?
  13. I'll second Kurt's statement. Use the mfg's thinner for the paint you use on your models. The wrong thinner can clog up your (air)brushes. Use your alternative thinners for cleanup.
  14. Rob, this looks like a very interesting build. This bird looks quite the beast with the shark mouth motif. Hope you get minimum hassles from this ungainly bird.
  15. Richard, looks very good. 👍 Some of the design ideas these models represent are pretty esoteric. Radiator lines running along the cockpit rails. Wow.
  16. Andy, the Hurricane could be a weather divert. Had those happen any number of times. The dio is shaping up nicely. I'm waiting to see your "mud" treatment.😄
