Hi Igor,
Your work is really wonderful. Thank you for sharing it with us. Very inspiring!
I hope you don’t mind if i ask: how did you tint the silicone sea? The rubber mixture doesn’t mix well with most colorings.
Also, I agree with Cog^ - you created a great sense of proportion and drama. Don’t always need to fill up the bottle space with the ship.
Thank you!
-Josh
Many thanks for your feedback, Josh!
I use the pigment for this silicone. -
Many thanks for all your feedbacks and LIKEs, friends!

Yeah, I made a mistake :(. The amount of sea is too small for this composition, so there is a lot of empty space at the top of the bottle

Amazing work as always Igor. You are a true master! Thank you for sharing with us.
One question - did you wait a while to cork it to allow the resin to dry? Just wondering if you’re experience has shown that it’s best to keep the bottle open for a few months before forming.
Many thanks, Mike!
Yes, the bottle has been open for some time, but I use two-component silicone to make the sea. It dries within 24 hours. -

I'm pretty certain that I would go insane if I attempted this kind of work, which partly explains why I have never attempted anything like it!
Oh, thank you, Chris! But I think you could just try to make an SIB. And I'm sure you could have done it too.

A few days ago I finished this project too.P.S. I put this model in a glass cabinet and started looking for a new bottle for the second version of this diorama.

Many thanks for yours feedback!
So I cleaned and cleaned the bottle again. Then I determined the volume of the future sea. I also finally fixed some parts of the rigging and cut off their free ends. In general, I carried out a final check of all elements of the model before the process of filling up. And finally, I disassembled the model into parts, at the same time drawing up an assembly diagram and marking the threads. -

Hello to all!
So ... The boat stood on the shipway during almost a year in anticipation of the process of placing in the bottle. About a month ago, I returned from vacation and, in the remaining few days before going to work, I, nevertheless, poured the sea, put the parts of the hull in a bottle and ... In general, as of sundays evening, everything looked like this -I'm going to tell about the process of moving the model into the bottle a little later.
Best Regards!
