Hi Patrick, Here is "Gauge to Inches to Millimeters Conversion Table" - http://www.kitco.com/jewelry/gauge-inch-mm.html By the way there is a very simple way to straighten the wire. You can fix one end of the wire and strongly tug the other end. The wire will be direct. But very thin wire may break. Best Regards! Igor

Patick, I again tried to make the Cup for the salon of your yacht. But... it seems, I have a little time for other attempts.

Patrick, you can try to look at it here, for example - http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/0-2-50M-Roll-1Roll-lots-Mixed-Color-Copper-Wires-Beading-Wire-DIY-Jewelry-Findings-Brass/335131_32308449764.html The price much lower and seems with free shipping. Best Regards! Igor.

Thanks Patrick, Railings... This is my main task now. I hope that tomorrow I will be able to make them. Best Regards! Igor.

OK, Patrick. I use the similar wire from 0,15 to 0,4 mm, but diameter is specified on coils . For holders of a rail I try to take thinner wire and for production of a ring I use a boring bit of suitable diameter. Best Regards! Igor. P.S. 7$ for coil?!?!? P.P.S. Now I have two weeks of holidays! I was visiting Murmansk within 3 days.

Hi Patrick, Socks can be put in a grid for washing, but these fine details sometimes run off as if they live and wild. But sometimes they come back. after you make this detail again. So we will return to those details. You can see on a photo why I made them. Now I added still some details to the yacht, painted some parts and they dry. I will show them later. Best Regards! Igor.

Hi everyone, A little jokes... What's this? Who has any guesses? Option that is garbage or crumbs wrong Best Regards! Igor.

Thanks Carl and Patrick, Actually it isn't so difficult as it seems. For example, the production of a barrel takes about 10 minutes. You need only a bamboo toothpick, a minidrill, an emery paper and a thin thread. Best Regards! Igor.

The next update - the boat for yacht. The captain Slokum made the boat, cuting part of the big boat. Therefore it has a little strange form.)) Best Regards! Igor.
-
Thanks Patrick, It is made of the thin thread. I have done the microflute on the side face of the barrel and I put the thread in it. Best Regards! Igor.

I made new barrels for the yacht. It seems they look a little better than the first. Best Regards! Igor.

Hi CaptainSteve, I heard about use of starch or the diluted PVA for fixing of a form of a sail. 8 years ago I have applied other way. At first I gave the form to a sail using water and the hot iron, and then fixed it with using hairspray. Best Regards! Igor.
