  1. Thank you Wolf, it's your kindness... I follow your SF taking shape, really very cleanly and high in quality...
  2. If in addition, it is possible that they fire mini cannon balls with powder, your work can be acceptable... Great and detailed clean work as usual Jason...
  3. The wood, such a beautiful material!... Thank you Brian for calling it to my mind... By your mastership... The outcome is incomparable...
  4. Museum quality, masterpiece... Color is impressive...
  5. Thank you Chris and Buck for your gentle support... Very appreciated...
  6. What an elan Sjors!... Great and shapely... Tomorrow, ratlines...
  7. Hi Jason, Nice, precise, clean as usual... "If anyone has any other suggested improvements would love to hear them." My suggestion after this sentence (my apologizes): If you decided to leave the elevation screw brass coloured, should mellow a little with age; may the area which is out of the working section of the screw through the carronade be more darker because these bottom and top areas remain unrubbed?
  8. Thank you Jason and ZyXuz, for visiting and for the good words, it is very appreciated...
  9. Thank you Mark, for your kind comment, much appreciated... Even if it's my decision to go with natural hemp color in all ropes, it sounds very good that light linen color is acceptable in modelling... Thank you again for the encouragement... "On the color... the tar darkened with age"... She is a fetus yet...
  10. Hi Buck, We say in my country: "With the changing of your locality you get more internal space" (translation is like this)... I hope this changing brings you the goodness...
  11. Impressive as always... Maybe I had missed the explanation about it; on the transom, there is a figure of a man at the starboard side, will be placed its mirror image on the port side?
  12. You know Augie but still I want to say; master quality, master piece...
  13. What I summarize after four months is you enjoy your life...
  14. Hi Sjors, I like your funny, enjoyable manner. It is privilege for me your waggish presence... And I think I am not alone, I suppose that many people think like me...
  15. Hi Sjors, I am always surprised how you can make updates on your build while you chat with all members all around the world... :-)
  16. Hi Sjors, I was accustomed of your long long chats with all the world :-) Now I slog to follow your updates... You have gained high speed... But you don't lose control at high speed... The quality increases with velocity... :-) SI improves nicely...
  17. One month ago I had written in a member's log the word "terrible" instead of "terrific"... I had thought that I had said a good thing... What a shame for me!... And you had corrected me... Thank you twice Kevin...
  18. Oh no Kevin... I had not paid any attention to your Log then one day I had stopped by and loved your build and decided to follow it. Your build had came at some stage when I found it. I tried to mention that, shame for my English level... Let me know which is the correct word. I know the life is a war, not a victory nor defeat... I hope all around you will bring you the goodness...
  19. Ahoy J.Pett, In fact what I mentioned "gap" is the junction point. The round wire had been left loose to allow installing the deadeye, for this reason there was a gap. But once the deadeye has been installed the wire was compacted firmly then the gap became a junction point... But the soldering is the best solution and your suggestion was registered...
  20. Yes... They had been done... Very shapely as expected... Really much beautiful than the kit's... And very speedy...
  21. Hello Chris, Had you given up building your WVH through the topic in Traders, Dealers... section?! If so, it's a disappointment for me... I hope that I misunderstood the topic...
  22. Randy, I have just realized that the problem is to burn the deadeye with fire. Excuse me because of my inattentiveness. In my kit supply if to glue the deadeye remains stable, your scratch would be more stable with CA and more easy and more speedy...
  23. Hello Randy, I believe that you can manage it very shapely... as your impressive SF... I saw your AL's supply. I am sure that to compare kit supply with your oncoming scratch will be meaningless... In addition you know how to solder... An another suggestion, sorry...
