  1. Looks very beautiful Sjors, You have catched the sophistication of the scratch build... Are the two chests at front of the rooms also your scratchs?
  2. Thank you B.E. and Juergen for the kind comments and for eyeing all details... Another talent: Visual flair... The neat little sheave in fact, has a circular wood of piece inside to simulate a pulley, but being left in shade it had not been seen in photos... And the ropes in the background are the shrouds...
  3. Salute avsjerome, Fortunately I haven't burned my hands but there is a burned place on the wood of the inlaid floor...
  4. Many thanks hamilton and Matti, Hamilton, wood is more attractive than rope for me... But here comes the inevitable end...
  5. Hi Michael, I can highly suggest you to visit also his log Istanbul Kayigi... Another fantastic build. A lot of lessons to learn... http://modelshipworld.com/index.php?/topic/506-istanbul-kayigi-by-ilhan-gokcay-coastal-trade-vessel-of-istanbul-18th-c-scale150/?hl=istanbul
  6. Then, If I had had your skill and if I had succeeded to build her like you, I would be thinking twice before painting the hull.
  7. Happy Birthday Sjors... ( My apologies, I'm late... ) BTW, you scratch is looking good...
  8. Hı Brian She looks impressive... But you too know this, she had made you change your avatar... :-)
  9. Hi Matti, With two tones of brown color and old aspect given, she looks natural and much closer to the original...
  10. Hi Randy, I had found this link below one year ago and had solved a lot of my problems... There are many builds of high quality. In each build there is a text in which through a link "closer views of hull, deck and rigging" you can examine the details and you can click on each photo to enlarge it... http://www.finemodel...models-sold.htm
  11. Thank you İlhan, Your praise is highly appreciated... But the scratch build is absolutely yours. I am learning a lot of things from your log... It's just about that you would grow your own trees which you could use in your build...
  12. Hi Michael, It's a pleasure to see you again, to read your kinds comments and finally to contemplate the updates on your Wasa...
  13. Such beautiful words Hamilton! Much appreciated... Thank you very much...
  14. Hello Kevin, I don't know why I have missed a really clean and impressive build... That is a tardy confession...
  15. Thank you Anja and Sjors, were not a little but very helpful...
  16. Hi Buck, Could you tell me; this Optivisor, how many diopters has it? And could you build a new Morgan's Whaleboat (2nd build) of which the lenght will be as equal as the lenght of your scratch tap?!
  17. If I understood correctly, belaying pins are in front and coil behind of the mast...
