Hi Trevor. He has done a lot of translated and most of the ones you have mention are in my small library. I really like the one about Blaise espionage and filled in a lot of question on English ship building. You must also have a nice library which come's in hand when your research for information. Gary

Hi Trevor. Are you talking about the Facsimile reprint published by Jean Boudriot Publications. Am not sure how much translation David Roberts did, But he did help on the Facsimile but do believe that most of the set was done by Jean Boudriot. It is a great set and also come with a great set of plates in Vol 2. Hope this helps. Gary

Sorry to hear about your flood Alan. Seems a lot of us these days are under assault from Mother Nature along with fires started by electrical short's. The good news at least for me is I will soon have a new house. Alan hope things get better for you and the other good members in the future. Gary

I am doing all that Alan, its the scale that is giving me the challenge. Also on the Mill its difficult to see the depth of the cuts. Ive made some 10 scrapers so far but not happy with the results. Today i am going to see of i can hook up one of my cameras and blow it up on a monitor to get a better feel for the depth of cut. My Turbo carver is small enough to cut the curved surfaces on the hacksaw blades but my smallest files are useless.
Hi Kevin. You could look into getting a set from Artesania Latina and on there site they call them Micro Shapers and comes in 3 sets, A,B,C. I have all three and get good result's when using them. At least look in to them and may save you from pulling out your hair. Good luck Gary

I'm sorry to hear about the fire but it's good that everyone is unharmed. Take all the time you need for repairs and getting through all the paperwork, construction, etc.
Hi Mark. Every one is fine and the dog's to. You are so right about this and it will take some time for the repairs. Getting the paper work done is a whole different ball game. Trying to list every thing that you have in your home is very time consuming, but having photo's of the den and the rest of the personal items does help. Never knew I had so much stuff. Thank you again. Gary

I am sorry to learn what you've got to go through with all this. What I've learned is I best get some photos as proof of what I have accumulated for any insurance claim.
Thanks Alan. One of the best things to do other then photos of every thing is make sure you have enough insurance to recoup every thing you have. The best thing is 95 percent of the books was in the work shop addition. Of course I miss the 5 percent that was in the den. 😭Gary

Hi Allan and thank you. Do believe it was after the big crash. Only thing I can remember is that it was posted to give folk's a ideal of what books one may see what is out there. Some of my most important books were in the den so am trying to find them so I can claim them on the insurance. I do think I have enough info from photo's of the book's in the den but having that list just help me. Thanks again Allan. Gary
