  1. Hello friends. I continued to prepare the accessories. I made the barrels and a stewpot today. I used my mini lathe and a small file.
  2. OK friends, I made the stove yesterday and painted it black. The stove is not available in the kit. I made it myself.
  3. Hello friends. I haven't posted the photos for a while but that doesn't mean I am not working on my Santa I was just lazy to post the updates. Apologies my followers (if I have followers ) I am sharing what I have done so far without text. By the way I am modifying the kit trying not to use some metal cast object and making them from wood as much as possible.
  4. Thank you so much my friend. I am following your build with a big interest and inspiring. This is my second Santa Maria build, if you are interested I have a log for it on MSW as well.
  5. I built up the forecastle bulwark and did the planking bulwark outside. I used the laser cut rail of the poop deck and planked rail inside and outside.
  6. Forecastle, channels and the rudder are in place. The forecastle deck was planked wıth 2x3 mm walnut strips. The rudder and the chammels were planked with 1x4 mm walnut strips.
  7. I finished the second planking. After a light sanding I glued the wales and futtock riders. I used 2x4 mm walnut strips for wales and 2 layers of 2x4 mm walnut strips for the futtock riders.
  8. The second planking is complete. Dear friends, I would like to ask that if it is a good idea to add the treenails or false nails on the hull of this model. What do you recommend? Thanks in advance. Scale of the model is 1:50
  9. The second planking continues towards the bulwarks. Starboard side is complete.
  10. The second layer of planking of the hull continues. The port side is complete and the other side is close to the finish.
