Yes, batters box is a baseball term and I used the wrong one, meant to say 'Is anyone on deck?' which would mean the 'next' hitter or as I meant it to refer as, 'Do you have a next project in mind?' By the way, great job so far! To make flesh, you add some blue to pink, so blue would tone down the red plastic.

Great Scot, Great Work. Must be using the Energizer Bunny batteries. At this rate you will be done in no time! Anything in the batters box?

Amazing work and detail. It is hard to believe it is only 10 inches (25 cm) long. Your Bounty seems so much bigger.

Once again, Great Job! I have learned so much from all of your builds! Can't wait to see more.

This is a great build thus far, I will watch with great interest. I am building a 1/144 scale version based on a Lindberg kit and kitbashing using Amati plans. Where did you get your drawing/plans?

I had some issues making Frame 2 and will have to recut a few of the pieces. However, look what Santa left under the tree for me.

I'm a little late to the party but, Greg, absolutely stunning work. That seems to be the norm for you. You have true talent at building and detailing models.

WOW, I love what you have done with this model! Especially the copper hull, bravo! I will use your technique in the future.

I need to make bollards for my Arizona. I tried to make one from scratch and planned on casting copies, but the bollard was so small and I lacked experience doing casting. I decided to make them assembly line style. Now I just need to glue them together.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
