I am in awe of your craft. It's a whole other art to building in plastic or wood. Kudos on your work. I have a question about the ringbolts. You seem to have the bolt and eye attached. Without some David Copperfield trickery, how do you get the ring onto the bolt? Is it carved there or do you have to somehow close the eye of the bolt onto the ring after they are connected? I don't see any joint lines in the rings......

The Breech

The breeching tackle serves to prevent the gun after firing, to fly through over the deck. ( Secular terms )

On the ship the ring bolts will installed for the guntackle and tackle .

The bones are to formed very well on the lathe .
Most of the details are worked out with a file.
The polished impression is made by files.
If the workpiece on the lathe rotates, is polished by gently press down a very fine file to the piece .

I have good news:  Agent P is back
and he has brought incredible top-secret material from the armory of his Majesty of England.

the attachment of the swivel guns has left me no rest  so I have with help of my mentor Peter in the AOTS book, "The 20-gun ship BLANDFORD" a drawing found on page 89 of the correct attachment of the swivel guns post.
Thus also the irritation to the original plans were eliminated.
