  1. Hi Richard Much thanks for the link. You are right, it could be very interesting for more research. I believe the Wale-Planking of the Swan must be suitable because the Triton was similar in time. The AOTS of the Diane is showing the same planking.
  2. Hello I have a question about the Beams of the Triton. How likely was that the Beams of the Triton are made in a single unit or was made up in two portions?
  3. Thanks very much druxey for the warm words. It's always a great help to be on a right track.
  4. Thanks so much for nice comments Christian, Nils and Daniel. And also much thanks for the likes. It's always a great motivation. I have re-drawn all the frames from original-drawings Daniel. That was the reason of the long break because I must to force myself to do it
  5. Hello Christian, I fear to that I can't be a great help for you. But it's nice to see that your project is going on.
  6. Hello Guys Here's a little update of my build. I install the aft Cant-Frames at the moment. You can see my practice of the following photos. I hate it to do the same for several hours. That's why I decided to produce a Frame, install it and than produce the next Frame and so on. At this way I had a bit of change. To saw out the parts I use a band-saw with a special saw band for slightly curves. I hope that the next update is showing the finish of the frame build.
  7. Hi Daniel My Triton isn't parked but the Leopard . Currently I fit the afterwards Frames at the Triton but I'm a very slow model builder. I believe that all Frames are fitted at the end of Oktober. But now one question to your build. I'm not really shure, but could it be that the upper and lower timber at the first Gunport must be fitted as you can see of the following picture?
  8. Much thanks for the nice comments. @Daniel No problem my friend. The Leopard is to be on hold. Currently I'm fitting the afterwards Frames at my Triton
  9. It's nice to see a new progress Daniel. You are doing a great job.
  10. Hi Nils I finally had time again to read the posts on MSW. Your Pegasus is looking great and also your other models
  11. You are quite right Richard. But it's important to find a balance between thinking and work. With all the thinking I have forgotten to work
  12. This is a very good description of a framebuild. The frame is looking very good, well done.
  13. I don't no what to say Karl. Outstanding craftsmanship.
  14. Hi Nils You are doing a great job. It's always a pleasure to your updates.
  15. Much thanks Tim But that's not the correct work area because I made the photos before a little exhibition. The correct work area is not so tidy. The model below is the HMS Leopard.
  16. That sounds good. It's always a pleasure to see interiority.
