The ratlines on the portside are finished, a bit of lining up but for now looking good .😊. Now to the starboard side. Today I managed to tie on the Mizzen and the main masts ratlines, Pile was quick to point out that I missed two lines on the Futtock shrouds 🧐. Tomorrow, because tonight everyone wants to watch a movie. A family movie tonight, and I kinda got the feeling maybe I better show up lol. I hope to finish the ratlines tomorrow, and get the Bowsprit on and maybe the gammoning on as well. The knights feather is growing on me . Still I will wait till after I put the mast on first. We will see, Pile wants a team meeting about a few things so I told him to put it on the list, lol. The rigging is going ok, not nearly as neat as the logs that I follow for the Duchess, @Glenn-UK and @DocRob plus few other as well. I try to learn as much as I can, the books and the help that members have shown me over the last couple years is paying off I think 🤔. I have a long way to go on rigging, I feel a little bit concerned about the way I rig. The knot tying is shaky at best. But I think I got Clove hitches and serving lines aced lol. I completely forgot about the King of the Mississippi diorama I have been doing. Ratlines take president lol. And I am pretty sure I will finish rigging the Pegasus next Got to run lol. Thanks so much for all the support and likes 👍 👌. Bob M . PFCGP Goober 🙂. Forgot one lol.

I just got a new Ipad and wanted to see how the pictures looked now. I noticed that they are not as straight as@Glen McGuire or @Loracs and @Pfälzer , those members I follow and try to do what they do, lol my only excuse is I am old and Shake lol. So I have 104 clove hitches left on the practice side, portside, so l better come up with a way to straighten them out . So on with the rat lines, I got several albums that I want to listen to well enjoying the rigging. I should be able to turn the plans to page 12 this week 🙄 I hope, two pages left to go . l😀. Back to the ratlines, thanks for popping by, Pile and Goober are still partying perrty heavy lol. Have a great year my friends. Bob M. PFCGP Goober 🙂. Realignment 🤭

The Mizzen mast ratlines went well , the fore mast needs some straighting out but I will finish it up after Christmas. The Party Is beginning, so Pile gave everyone the rest of the week off. Party time. I started sending my crew mates Emails say Merry Christmas, I sent 10 now it says I have reached the maximum amount of messages for one day try latter. Lol that's a frist for me. So to all members and staff at MSW/NRG. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. And to all have a great New Year. Bob M. PFCGP Goober . MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Goober said he left all the served lines in the box, we looked at the plans all the way to page 13. Looked for every .5 mm line=F, figured out what we needed and served it all, today. We should have enough lines , but it's real eazy to serve up a few feet of which ever size we need. Then , yes I started the ratlines, rusty but it'll do . Meet Runner the boys hired him , and soon had him running lol. Adjusting ratlines on the foremast then run up the Mizzen mast to see if we can do anything with the shroud. on his way down Pile yelled stop. Right there, this is were Runner will end up when we are finished. It is to hide my first attempt at Futtock shrouds. Lol. Its a blob , but it will be hidden by Runner . Thank you everyone for the likes, with mates like you guys we can't go wrong. Thank you all. 😊. Ok my freinds, Merry Christmas. I have to get to my ratlines. I will do up to the platforms then run the lines for the topgallant. Then finish the rest of the ratlines. My only joy is that there is a whole lot of ratlines on the Pegasus. . I still can't believe how much fun modeling is. I definitely am in my happy place today. Knocklouder & Crew !! .

@Keith Black The Truth is still out there!!! I think everyone from the Captain to the helmsman on both ships are screaming "Hard To Port, Hard To Port". Glen, she is perfect. The ships are going the same way as the water and the whirlpool. Again my friend, you have outdone yourself, Dang, you're good. Now that you have mastered putting more than one ship in a bottle, you can only top this with a famous battle of multiple ships. I don't remember details, but Keith Black had mentioned it to me in passing. Lol Sorry buddy, I started Ratlines today and I might be light headed from it. Lol. Bob . M . PILE Goober is not here but says "Merry Christmas GLEN."

Way to go my friend, Pile and I were behind you all the way, Goober had his doubts but he's new .lol. That is so well done. I know it hard enough to put one ship in the bottle, let alone two. About the ratlines, I just stared mine on the Duchess, I am good lol. Great job with this one , it really is fantastic. Bob M. Pile.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
