  1. Hi Peter, those pins usually don't come with the kits. This is what I use Headless pin nails. They do make it stronger, if you just glue them on a slight knock will knock them off. Hope it helps. BOB M.

  3. Hello Brad, on my Amati Nina they go through the mast and are tied on the deck with three hole violin blocks, then tied to the fife rail. Hope this helps.

  6. Peter, I believe that you can . I think you put your model in the scratch build area, under the right year. Then tag it "Restoration" If this is not right the moderators will change it LOL Good luck on your journey. Welcome aboard!!

  8. Good luck on your journey #2, remember to ware your mask 😷 when char removing 😁. I found if I used the back side of my 10 blade first sanding was quicker. But it is slow steady work. Good luck Bob M.
  9. David, I looked at a lot of St. Roch builds today the ones that look the best are just in line with the portholes. I even went to the Vancouver Museum web site, their St. Roch portholes are even with the rubbing stake. I think they look good. Can we lower the rubbing stake just a bit or do you have to raise the portholes. I would go for a little tidier than accuarcy but I am a newbie lol.
