I just put it together lose, I will take it apart and shim it here and there and clamps lots of clamps. I found a pdf file on a page I have no I deal how I I got to But it about decking I would like to learn because I drew it with a pencil on The Santa Maria , and would like to do it right this time. Was that cheating just drawing it in with a pencil lol The pdf is great for figuring out how to lay it out should be fun Plus got my new hand drill to make all the tiny holes in the deck . I will post here when I start Clamping the painted one together.

So most builds I see start with an open the box picture, I plan to build the ship right out of the box, minor changes maybe but by the book. The Santa Maria institutions are in Italian, was hard to follow, as my new found friend Lapinas will tell you about he has a great page I sat for hours learning planking putting it together thanks so much. Many other pages help to . This one is in English and looks easier to read. I will try to use what I learned on the first to improve on the next. First thing I noticed only two rolls of rope instead of four , be done in no time lol. 🙃 😅 Well it begins but real life is calling, did I mention I was old and can't hear to good . Bye for now. 👋 👋 👋 👋

Martín Alonso Pinzón, (Spanish pronunciation: [maɾˈtin aˈlonso pinˈθon]; Palos de la Frontera, Huelva; c. 1441 – c. 1493) was a Spanish mariner, shipbuilder, navigator and explorer, oldest of the Pinzón brothers. He sailed with Christopher Columbus on his first voyage to the New World in 1492, as captain of the Pinta. The captain of my new log!!

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
