Popeye, Get Skype !!!!!!! It's not only Mobbsie and Frank that we are talking to. Also Wayne and Grant. Yes we go international……. The only thing is that we have to deal with the different time zones. Most of the time that we can talk to you guy's are if it is in the evening with us and in the morning for you. But believe me….IT IS FUN !!!!! SO GET SKYPE !!!!!!!- 389 replies

Ferit, Thanks for the great pictures ! What I can see that is at the first model, they put an extra block under the bowsprit…. At the second picture they drilled holes true the bowsprit….. Very nice idea both ways…... When there is no other solution I think I go for picture 2. Again thanks, I was looking all over the internet to see if I can found something but nope….not me. Thanks for the link ! It goes at my favourites….

No Ferit, I don't will do that I have 16 parts more to do……. I should be very happy when all of those things are done. But I find all ready the first problem. Maybe someone can help me……. At the bowsprit there is a platform. On that platform there has to be deadeyes. But how do attach the lower deadeyes. There is no futtock stave or anything else where I can tie them up. I posted an earlier picture, so you can see what I mean.

Thanks all. @ Randy, Most of the time I'll be doing 5 ratlines and then I'll be doing something else. Otherwise I see ratlines all over Schiedam The muscle only hurts when I take a deep breath or when I cough. So I don't want to do both….. Very difficult when you are working at the ratlines not to take a deep breath…... @ Grant, Thanks ! I have now make a template with different colours. Will see if it works for me.

Hi Frank, Even when it is changing colour it doesn't matter . The anchors are looking old, so when the rope is darker, that's also looks old then….. Keep on going my friend !

Thanks you all for your concerns…... I contacted the Doctor and I have no Gnome fever…….. I have probably a strained muscle in the chest and a little cold. 2 paracetamols and easy going….. So, I can later this day back to the ratlines. Maybe that will helps. @ Popeye, You have a colourful way of writing The place of the Gnomes are not in our backyard but that from the neighbours who are on holiday now…... And they have take two of those Gnomes with them @ Robbyn Welcome back to the family ! I hope you had a wonderful time and a very good wedding. And how does it feel to be married ? And your husband allow you to sit behind the computer to check with your friends ? When do you give us the link that we can see pictures of that? The ratlines are going steady but there are a lot more of those…..

For me personally, I will be continue at the top till the planks are not going smoothly anymore. Then starting from the keel till i reach the planks that is already there. Then you have to use stealers. With that, I can not help you because I don't understand a thing about drop planks and stealers. But someone else can give you an answer on that.
