Hi Popeye, I was going upstairs for you ( I need breath now ) to take a look at Anja her Half Moon and there are those planks horizontal. Only….no doors Maybe to much work for Corel to place them? We also have a book about the Half Moon and on none of the drawings, I find a door…... Or the replica is different or the book. It's just what Alex is saying, we where not there on that time. So do what's the best and what you like !

Hi Piet, My doctor is a little different. He changed my antibiotics because the other one don't work. If I have still fever on wednesday, he will send me to the hospital, to a specialist. The only thing I know about my bus is that it has wheels, steering wheel and I have to work with it…. And that is enough for me !

Hi Jim, I think you have to see it this way. It;s not because there are no ratlines on it but the ship is unknown. When you take a ship that is build also by others, people want to come quicker. But it has nothing to with you I'll be dropping in !

Mark, I've seen so many museums in my life but not with paintings from someone who's is drunk at the moment they are painting. And paintings from someone who lives in 1600 is to old for me……. When they shows the battle of Trafalgar or some thing like that, then it is an other story . I'll be the first visitor. Just like the completed gallery at this forum. Some pieces are real museum pieces ! I can watch it for hours ! Augie, Thank you very much for the pictures. It's gonna be art work at the first level !

Augie, Thanks for the link. I never see this picture from him and yes, I was a few times at the front of that museum but went never inside. I don't like paintings…the same as Rembrandt….. I lived close by but again, never been inside. I prefer museums with old ships

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
