@ Denis, I have remove the bamboo till the part that the planks are shorter then below it Not clear I think...... Ok, till the stern goes up in the sky ..... Better ? But you see the difference kind of wood. I'm not staining the hull but it is goon be painted white. But there is also a second layer of planks...... I doesn't metter if I use all kind of wood. And on this one that's the only launch . For the Aggy I have to do 4 of those. Big to small...... I'm busy with that at the moment. So I'm closing 5 hulls at the same time !!!!!!! @ Bug, If you are not playing karate kid you have notice that I have another build....what's new !!!!! I'm happy with your attention and please ,give me comment when needed !!!!!!! Sjors

I have done a little. I have finished the woodwork ( almost ) for the launch. It's a good thing to practice because I need 4 of those for the Aggy. There must be some minor sanding and painting. But there are a few other things that I have to work on to the launch. When the paint is on you will see an update of the launch. In the mean I'm still planking the hull. When I came in to the room with the launch to show Anja what i have done I've got these words from her..... " I thought that the Agamemnon was bigger ??????" How about that !!!!!! Or in Dutch......Pfffffffffffff Sjors

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
