    Denis, I know that New Zealand is on the other side of the world for me but there is one thing that I don't understand..... Where I live we are celebrating Christmas in December and a birthday on a different day... But you are celebrating everything in a few weeks ????? Is that the reason for a lll those presents ?

    Thanks Patrick I need the template but also my own measurements. As we are saying in the house.....komt goed ( free translation ....everything will find his place ) No comment on that Grant ! And I have to believe you Sam ??????? @ Jason, When I see this I understand what you are meaning. It is a slow process but ok, it has to be done. I take my time with it. And because it is wood, you can change things when it is wrong. Just what i was saying to Patrick.....komt goed !!!!!

    I have read that also. But then I was thinking.....painting the frames while the second planking is on it ???? Strange, better to do it when there is single planking. Now I can paint them around it and not to be so careful when the second planking was on it.

    Hi Pierre, I thought I already leave a comment at your log but I don't..... So, the first one then You have make some good progress ! One question.... I see that you started the second planking but I see something. You are not putting frames in the gun ports ? When you are doing it later and then paint them red, I think you paint more then only the frame of the gun port. But maybe you have another system ?

    Hi Pierre, Thanks ! I'm also a bit disappointed about the template. When I take the pictures for Jason I found out that for some reason the template moved...... The gun ports that I cut out where to low I thought....... So I take a cannon and there is nothing wrong with it. Strange ! You have to measure ten times before you can drill. So, we are keeping going on. It's just playing with the wood !

    Rich, I have make a few pictures how to assemble the gratings. I hope it is clear for you. When you make the gratings and before putting the wooden frame around it, let it take a bath in diluted pva. So you know for sure that they are all sticking together. When they are all together .you can easily make them the right size with an exact knife.

    Thank you all again @ Wayne, The carriages are done, only painting and then I have to drill a few 100 holes for the eyebolts..... I'm happy that I have a power tool for that ! One at the time and someday there all done...... @ Augie, Wait and see @ Piet, No worries. We are friends so I'm not harming you ! @ Popeye, Cotton balls are for the Le Mirage ! Now I have real ones !!!!!!! @ Mark, I keep that in mind..... Not 74 or 100 but only 64 .....

    Thanks again Guy's !!!! @ Jason, I have a template for that. Tomorrow I shall make a picture of it when it is attach to the hull. Then you can see it. @ Sam, A month ? I think 2 months...... I have to work in the mean time.... @ Augie, Yes, it is a 64. So a few more to do ! And the blue on the roundhouses are lighter then they showing on the picture. Now it looks black but it is really blue..... Maybe when the sun is shining, I can make a better picture of that. @ Popeye, I know what you mean. When you are looking to the rail between the two roundhouses Caldercraft want me to use brass stripes. I don't like that so a piece of wood is better. maybe I change some more on her but that will learn the future...... @ Mobbsie, Thanks my friend , I hope I 'm not nuts at the end of all the gun ports.... There are some other stuff that I can do in between

    Denis, You should be happy that this "baby's " don't come home with boyfriends or girls You can save money because of that and you can buy more tools ! Nice Have fun with the new toys and tell us what is gonna be your next project. Maybe dark side ??????? ( with those tools you have to ! )

    It was a long search but I find my Aggy log again ! Because it's May I will spend some time at her. The Fonz is at the shelf for a while...... What have I done... Make the focs'l ( if I wright that right ) Make the roundhouses with the hinges and painted. Then i have make 3 gun ports with the frames in it. Maybe it looks not perfect but I have still to paint them and then of course another planking. So I can hide a lot

    The Admirality paint don't get very well on brass. I use Humbrol paint for that. But when you can make them, make them from wood.

And thanks about the rigging Also thank you Patrick , When the King is celebrating something, why not celebrating with him ??? No worries Popeye, If necessary....I make room !!!!!! Thanks also about the rigging.... @ Sam, What is compound miter??? Can you eat that ????????
