What have I done today..... I start planking the hull. On both sides there are now 4 planks on it. This cost me a fortune on the glue. These planks are long ! Of course they need sanding but that's for later. I have removed the upper gunport sheet otherwise it's in the way. Also removed the upper gun deck again. Same story.

Thanks all again Also for all the likes ! I like it @ Patrick, Thank you very much. I will do best to make your profession right ! @ Jason, Questions are always welcome. I put every plank separate on the frames. When all of them are there, I sand it a little and then paint them. They gonna have another layer of paint after I make the gun ports. If there is any damage, I can fix that. I have not bevel them. It just fits perfect ! If you have more questions, just ask. @ John, Thank you pictures are coming if I have to report something. @ Robbyn, Also thank you ! It goes easy and good. And then you can make some progress. And don't forget that I have a great teacher ! A guy from England @ Mark, Mobbsie want to keeps his elves for his own I have to do it all by myself. The progress is now going slow because of work...... I'll catching up with him ? Then I have to build 24 hours each day........ @ Ben, Also thank you ! The big planking starts soon..... I think that takes a year before I finished the hull. There are going a lot of planks on it !

Hi Kamil, The ship looks great ! Strange that the board not fits on the long boat. I had no problems with that. But we will see what OcCre is saying about that.

Thanks Sam, Bala the Noob ?, Wayne for the pffffff And Lawrence, @ Sam, No worries. I make a lot of sawdust ! I have shape the filler blocks for the bow. That's balsa wood so you know how much sawdust is coming from that ! But when I'm finished with that, cleaning again ( otherwise troubles with Anja ) @ Bala the Noob , I don't think that's your name. Do you have a name otherwise I'll give you one @ Wayne, When you learn something new you always have to use it all the time So your new word is pfffffff ? @ Rod, It's brave that you tell us this. When you have the feeling that the Aggy is to much at the moment.....wait with it ! But please, not to long ? We don't getting any younger here...... @ Lawrence, The tools has nothing to do with santa. It was my own pocket money ! And now I'm broke ...... But I have the tools ! Then the little update. And then....planking time @ Rod, Welcome to the wonderful world of modelling an Aggy ! I have see that you visit all the Aggy logs. But 2 till 3 years before you get started on her ? Shame on you !!!!!!!! Start tomorrow ! We want to see what you are doing with that beast ! And no, I don't have shares from Proxon. Just like the tools from them ! I have the same feeling with Ferrrari, but that was a little to expensive to buy 7 of them

Thanks Augie and Lawrence, @ Augie, Re-decoration is done Clean and crispy so time to make sawdust again @ Lawrence, Every time when I finish something I have to clean up the mess. Even If it is rainy, sunny, cloudy, snowing ( I don't know what that is ) or there is a tornado coming, I just have do to it . When I'm building I'm not cleaning a thing. So at the end it is a big mess. Now you know why

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
