Hi Murphy, Thanks It's a real challenge and I just love it ! When the hull is closed, I shall make a picture with the Corsair in front. Then you can see the sizes of this beast. When I take a look at your Mordaunt, I know that it is something for you that you love to build. So please, make me happy and build her ! You won't regret it !!!!!!

I understand it Ulises. Thanks for the explanation ! And let a professional take the final pictures ! They know what they can do with such marvellous build. Then the model will come to her right !
-
Incredible Ulises! Really a great job. Sorry but another picture tip....... Don't take pictures ,facing the window. You've got now back light and you miss again a lot of details. Be sure that the light is going on the ship.

Wow Ben, Are you looking with a magnifier ???? You are right. It's not symmetrical. But it's gonna have another layer of planking and then It's gonna be coppered. So you don't see a thing anymore after that. But thanks for looking so carefully !

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
