    Thanks Patrick, I'm not the only one who is happy in the house at the moment. Anja is happy that I finished the rope for a while. Now she don't find any loose ropes around the house Next month we are doing it all over again.....

    Main mast is done He got all the shrouds, ratlines and blocks...... What left is the foremast but that's for another time. Before anyone is calling for pictures, here they are......

    Lesson well learned Mark. Now you can say that you can speak a little Dutch ! Augie, The wood of the planking you are using is Basswood. Did you give it already a layer of something ? Or is it just natural ? Anja is looking around for wood for planking when she started the Hannah ( it takes some time before she wil get started on that )

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
