  15. A nice colour, Pete, but perhaps a bit grainy? Are you able to get your hands on any privet locally? It has a beautiful pale colour and very fine grain. If you check one of my build logs you can see what it looks like on a model. John
  16. Pete, I've never had to import wood, so I'm not sure. You might check the web sites of our forum sponsors, though. They're all professional outfits and should be OK. John
  17. Pete, I very much doubt that pearwood would be available here in Oz, but importing it shouldn't be a problem so long as you're getting it from a recognised professional timber supplier. John
