I usually don't respond alot to build logs, I just look and hit the like button to let you know I am looking. (being new to this hobby) I don't have alot of knowledge that can be passed on. but your build log and the way your have went about it with the CNC machine and also the hand crafted part is a real nice inspiration on how you can combine the new with the old. Really looking forward to more from you and will keep looking in. Have a Great Day

Pete38 replied to jdiven's topic in Modeling tools and Workshop Equipment
That is the way I have been using my dremel for about a year now, with no problems, set speed on tool and on/off foot switch. -
Thank you for your continued response. I hope to post more updates soon. As so often happens Life and Work gets it the way. Mostly work I hope to post more progress soon, so as to let the people know at MSW I have not forgotten by build log. I will continue to follow other and post my meager comments in hope that it may help someone. "even though I am very novice to this" . PS: Thank you for the comments and like. It means very much to me.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
