  2. Very Nicely done.....Great looking model and case.... a very nice addition to the cross section build. With whatever you decide to do next will be another nice build. Looking forward to it.
  3. I usually don't respond alot to build logs, I just look and hit the like button to let you know I am looking. (being new to this hobby) I don't have alot of knowledge that can be passed on. but your build log and the way your have went about it with the CNC machine and also the hand crafted part is a real nice inspiration on how you can combine the new with the old. Really looking forward to more from you and will keep looking in. Have a Great Day
  4. Rusty, I have not said alot but have been following your build with much interest. I have to say it is a very nicely done build and I always enjoy following someone like you. Thanks for sharing.
  5. That is looking very nice. Plank as much or as little as you want on the deck. Your frame work looks great and would look nice with one side left open (just my opinion) your build.
  6. Beautiful work and excellent craftsmanship, a build to be proud of.
  7. That is the way I have been using my dremel for about a year now, with no problems, set speed on tool and on/off foot switch.
  8. Very...Very...Very nice...Love the way you have made it "YOUR" build. Love all the detail you are putting into this...(very fast also)...Looking forward to more.
  9. Welcome to the Group, Very nice start on you build
  10. That is looking really nice. I wonder with the cnc cutting if the accuracy will be close enough to help eliminate a lot of sanding to fair the build?
  11. Thank you for your continued response. I hope to post more updates soon. As so often happens Life and Work gets it the way. Mostly work I hope to post more progress soon, so as to let the people know at MSW I have not forgotten by build log. I will continue to follow other and post my meager comments in hope that it may help someone. "even though I am very novice to this" . PS: Thank you for the comments and like. It means very much to me.
  12. That is very nice. Did you create the plans yourself for the cnc wood milling machine or obtain them somewhere else? If it is programmable from a cad software would be real handy doing a POB build. Just curious... This should be a very interesting build...Looking forward to more....
  13. Good start to your build, It is going to be a big one at that scale. If you are using cedar in your build you should not have any "moths" in your ship when done... Looking forward to more progress...
  14. Yes you "DID" pull it off. Very nicely done and thanks for the information....
  15. Looking really good...nice building board... Are you putting wood spacers in as you raise the frames?
  16. Rafterrat_2005 Would it be possible to post a link or a picture to the work bennch
  17. Looking really nice with some fast progress... I too found out ...that you need to check your plans 2 or 3 times to make sure you have the correct deck or even the correct scale you are working in. Keep up the great work
  18. Welcome to the Cross Section. You have a very nice start to your build. Looking forward to more updates....
