  5. Thank you, Patrick, I am hoping that this one turns out as well as the second one, and will be able to Sail like the first one. Thank you, Michael, I plan to add a lot moreTeak to this one, and will be taking more time to build. ( I have put my Bags back on, and am in the process of building a few Custom Homes) so for the most part I will be building this Boat on the weekend's ( and whenever I can squeeze in an hour here or there ) I am catching up on your Bristol Pilot Cutter, that is an amazing Boat Thank you, Nils, So far, She is coming out right on the money, I am very pleased with the results Best Regards, Pete
  6. After some time away from model building ( about 3 months ), I finally have enough of a break to get a start on building the Buzzards Bay 14ftr. Designed by L. Francis Herreshoff. This will be my 3rd build log on this topic ( I have always had an admiration for this Boat ), However this build will be done in the upside down fashion.( the other 2 were built using a Keel/strongback setup ), I belive that building the Boat in this manner will ( the same as if it were built full scale ), will give a more accurate boat. I started by setting up the building jig, Cutting out the frames and setting them up in the jig. Here are the results

  16. Hello waikiwi, Thank you for the compliment, to get the drawings, I took the profile plan, copied it on my flash drive, I then went to Kinko's copies had them print it out, I then took my architect's scale and subtracted a percentage of the original drawing to get the drawings to 1/4" = 1' - 0" ( it took some trial and error ) Best Regards, Pete
