  1. Evening all,   I did  a bit more  today  -  first  thing I did though was to  get my  LED   light out  (only for an hour  due to  electric costs)   I  changed over  my  group of painted  French   for  another group  then I mixed some more  darkened  Blue  and  with my fine tip brush,   I  brushed over the  Blue  areas  the put them a side to dry.    The colour certainly is  improving  and  the  flat coat should do the  trick when it arrives.

  2. Evening all,  so   I did  my  darkened brush coats  over  my groups  arms,  they  darkened nicely  but  the  sheen  still  remained  shiny  well  more  like a  satin  shade.   but  no bother I have ordered a  small 17ml  bottle  of  my trusty mig ammo  lucky acrylic ultra matt varnish.

  3. Evening all,   I have decided  in the absence  of  any  Flat  Coat  Lacquer,  I will  re paint  quite a  few of the  French  arms, (as they are  standing out the  most  and still  slightly  shiny like satin)     my idea  is based  on the  French uniforms  where  mainly a  very dark Black - Blue, and tended to vary,   what I will  do is to  use my Matt  Black  and add  some  Matt Blue   at a  ratio of  say Eight drops  Black  to  Two drops  Blue,  that way  it should  come out  a  nice Flat  darker shade  of  Blue  and  may not need  top coat  lacquering until  I can  get some more  lacquer  for  the rest  of them.
