They look good, Igor. How did you do the black bands around the barrels?

Thanks Patrick,

It is made of the thin thread. I have done the microflute on the side face of the barrel and I put the thread in it.

Best Regards!

Igor.

The next update - the boat for yacht. The captain Slokum made the boat, cuting part of the big boat. Therefore it has a little strange form.))

You must have steady hands and good eyesight to be able to work at such small scales. I applaud your work.

Thanks Carl and Patrick,

Actually it isn't so difficult as it seems. For example, the production of a barrel takes about 10 minutes. You need only a bamboo toothpick, a minidrill, an emery paper and a thin thread.

Best Regards!

Hah Igor! Making and then losing examples of our hard work is almost like an occupational hazard, isn't it! The problem is that you'll never ever find them again....come to think of it, I wonder if they've gone to the same place that my socks go to when my wife does the washing. Somehow, two socks go into the washing machine, but only one sock comes out...

Hi Patrick,

Socks can be put in a grid for washing, but these fine details sometimes run off as if they live and wild. But sometimes they come back. after you make this detail again.

So we will return to those details. You can see on a photo why I made them. Now I added still some details to the yacht, painted some parts and they dry. I will show them later.

Best Regards!

Igor.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for words of approval! I was going to make absolutely simple model in pauses of the construction of ATLANTIC, but it seems I have addicted a little. :)

Best Regards!

Hi Igor

You've done a great job so far. The tiny dinghy, plus the barrels, not to mention the characteristically highly cambered cabin roofs, really look the part. Now, all you need is a mini Joshua Slocum sitting at the tiller.

Please keep the updates coming.

Cheers

Patrick

Thanks Patrick,Gwyl!

Patrick, I can try to make a figure of the captain Slokam, but I am afraid that it wouldn't be pleasant to the captain :)

Best Regards!

Igor.
