Yes, Patrick, it is!
There is such a principle - there is no need to look for a difficult decision when you can do a simple solution :)
Now I have another problem - I do not know how to draw the name of the boat on the hull. The letters should be about 0.8 mm :(

Igor,

SInce you are talking pens ... rOtring  pens ... go down to 0.1 or 0.15 mm those might do the trick ... have a look here http://www.rotring.com/en/93-technical-calligraphy-pens/93-calligraphy-pens-technical

You're welcome. You might not be able to draw the letters, though, you could use a painting technique witch is called 'pointilisme' in French. I've done it with those earlier mentioned pens too. You form the letters as a dot-matrix pinter does ... one dot after anothet ... lucky your boat isn't that big ;)

She looks great.  If I could build like that in 1:96 scale I would be happy.

Hi Igor

Ahhh. I think I know what's going on here. You took a photo of the real yacht and photo shopped it onto your building board; thinking that we wouldn't be fooled!

Seriously, I really had to look hard to make sure that I wasn't imagining things, because you've done such a beautiful job building this ship, especially with those sails, that it could easily pass for the real thing at a glance.

Well done and very nice work.

Cheers

Patrick

Thanks for good words, friends!

Yes, Mike, it looks as in the flight. So I am checking the rigging ::)
Patrick, sometimes such a small scale gives some advantages - it isn't giving to see the error in the image :).

Best Regards!

Igor.

Hi everione!

I am continuing to do some little things during waiting.

It seems too large for this boat

HI Igor,

Very late to this build, but will once again follow along as you complete this little jewel.

Very much like the sail detailing as well as the wood contrasts used on the deck.

Cheers,

Nigel.

Thanks Nigel and Patrick!

I have ordered the tree for pedestal and I need wait when I can get it. Maybe next weekend I'll pour the sea into the bottle so as not to waste time.

Best Regards!

Igor.

P.S. And I started another project of the SIB on Saturday. :)

Igor

the model looks great, I like the tip about the sails . Is the name printed on decal paper, or did you do the dot type printing as suggested earlier?

Thank you Patrick and Michael!

Michael, one of my colleagues made these decals for my project. They are printed on a thin transparent film with paper base.

I tried several times to draw the name and the emblem, but I was not satisfied with the result. ((

Best Regards!

Igor.
