Kevin,

Does the Lavery book offer many/any detailed photos of late 17th century vessels?

Thanks

Allan

Great video Kevin. Shows the importance of planning one or even two decks ahead to make sure all aligns in the end. Most important is to make sure your coamings, hatches and bitts are properly aligned from top to bottom. The other beams can be fudged a bit if needed to accomodate.

Two bronze cannons recovered from the San Vincente, a Spanish galleon scuttled in 1797 in Trinidad when the British over powered the Spanish and took position of the island.  They fired the ship at anchor so the British could not get the cannons.

the sheaves are Made from  Lignum Vitae from blocks taken off the same wreck. Cannon ball was also taken from the wreck.
